Before performances, JongHyun would hold Taemin’s face and put their foreheads together while telling the maknae tips for the performance, to breathe at the end of a phrase when he absolutely needed to, to push his diaphragm, and to open his mouth wider at higher notes, and the maknae would always comply, closing his eyes and breathing in deep before they would step on the stage.

The maknae has learned a lot from JongHyun and now, three years later, they didn’t have to stick their foreheads together anymore, all JongHyun had to do was give him an encouraging smile and all the things he taught the maknae rushed through his head and like always, they would deliver a flawless performance.
